This site, along with the entire ideea of doing it, is owned by Jeff Adams. Jeff has over 20 years experience in internet marketing, affiliates, referral building systems and he is ready to share his experience with you. However, smartGPT system is designed as a community system, where users can share their experience (by rating the GPT programs listed in smartGPT system), and they can invite their friends to participate to GPT programs.
GPT stands for "Get Paid To" and basically includes everything that starts with PT* (Paid To). As for PTC means "Paid To Click" and it indicates that you have to click (usually on an anti-cheat test) after you visit a web page or to click ads, in order to be paid (this also refers to Paid to Surf). PTP means "Paid To Promote" and you get paid by generating unique visits to certain urls (usually you promote your own account to that GPT program). PTR means "Paid To Read" emails or to read ads. PTS means "Paid To Signup" and it involves for you to signup/subscribe to certain sites that GPT programs are promoting.

Yes, smartGPT is designed as an one level referral system. In fact, that is one of the powerful things offered by smartGPT system because once you bring referrals, you can get more referrals in the GPT programs you join over time. For more details please check how it works page.
Your smartGPT membership is free of charge. You will not be asked to pay money to join the smartGPT community, however in exchange your smartGPT referrals will receive instructions to signup using your referer id for GPT programs (and other referral programs smartGPT promotes) with a display rate of 5:4. Imagine that you defined a GPT program referer id named "myrefererid" in your smartGPT account. If smartGPT will promote that GPT program 5 times, 4 times it will use your referer id (myrefererid) and 1 time it will use Jeff's referer id. In other words, your referer ID for each program is shown 4 times out of 5 - meaning that you can get 4 possible referrals in that GPT program. The 5:4 rate is only for Free Membership - for Gold Membership the display rate is 1:1.
SmartGPT provides you with a page of your own (actually the entire site will track your referrals) that you can edit and you can display the programs you signed up for. So, simply when you work on traffic exchanges, or you want to promote GPT sites, rather than rotating them, or promoting only one of the time , you can simply promote ALL the ones you like, so you can get more referrals. Every time your promo page is viewed by somebody, you receive 0.03 credits if you are a Free Member or 0.05 credits if you are a Gold Member. These bits of credits once they get to an integer value you can assign them to your promo page - exactly! you can promote more your promo page just simply promoting yourself (yah, I know, sounds strange :) ).
Unfortunately not all the GPT programs on the internet are good enough to earn money. Even worse, some of them are just SCAMS and they don't pay the users that participate. For this reason, smartGPT system allows each user to rate the GPT programs he participate, in order to help ourselves to not get tricked by unreliable GPT programs. Rating GPT programs is optional, but is a tool to prevent others if some program in the system is bad and as well is a tool to encourage other users to join to the good programs. Try to be serious when you are rating - it is very important for our community. You can change your given rate for a GPT program, at any time.
If you want to hear that "I become a millionaire over night" story, you are in the wrong place. With GPT programs, you will not generate huge profits. However if you follow my instructions and you are a real believer that this will work, you can generate considerable income ammounts that simply can help you out with the bills. All the informations on this site, assumes that you want to start to earn money with minimum investment and when you don't invest a dime, you cannot expect to get millions back. But, for many of us (including Jeff) this is a start.
A big NO to SPAM! I hate SPAM probably more than you do. I got to the point that I changed my email address a couple of times and I realised I cannot stop it that way. All the email addresses of smartGPT users, along with identity informations are kept safely and it will not be shared with any other people/companies. The email addresses you may receive from smartGPT are strictly related to your account or GPT programs and besides that you can choose if you don't want to receive certain types of emails inside your account.
Jeff is available to answer to all your questions using the helpdesk system. The helpdesk is not limited to questions and help only, suggestions of improvement are more than welcomed at any time.
I really thought about this, but I couldn't find any particular reasons for which you may have more than one accounts. So at this moment, you can have only a single smartGPT account. If this doesn't satisfy you, please contact me and we can discuss about this.
Unlike many GPT programs/sites accounts, the smartGPT accounts are not set to expire. However, during hardware/software limitations, this rule may change - but you will be notified by mail if this happens.
At the moment, smartGPT system includes 2 types of accounts. The Free Membership (most users), have a display rate of 5:4 and every time the promo page is shown the user receives 0.03 promo credits. The Gold Membership includes users that are manually selected (at this time) and offers a display rate of 1:1 and 0.05 promo credits each time their promo page is shown.
